Though they were somewhat delicate, I used to love my Mizuno Wave Lightning Z4 sneakers. Having read so many outstanding reviews, I chose to try the Asics Netburner Ballistic FF shoes because I had high hopes for my next pair. My grip was not very strong and my jumps felt weak, but my three nights of volleyball in them were letdowns. Still, the shoes got much better after a week or two. The grip improved, so my leaps feel equally as good, if not better, than they did with my Mizunos. I’m not sure how long-lasting they will be, even though right now I’m quite happy with them.
The shoes are cozy, but I’m worried about the overall quality since I’ve seen the marks inside start to fade. Having only worn them roughly four times, I’m not sure if they would keep up if I wore them more often than once a week.
After nearly eight years of play, I had to replace my old volleyball shoes. I bought these because they best resembled my previous Asics. Normally I wear a 12 or 13; I ordered a size 12. I could really suit them. They provide me with good support; when I play volleyball, I feel really agile.
These sneakers’ fit is as promised. Though at first I was hesitant to buy these, I’m glad I did. The grip is excellent on immaculate flooring but may be a tad slick on dirty ones. The breezy shoes make my feet feel neither suffocated nor hot. In volleyball, they also feel strong and do not seem to rip or shred as you make quick motions. These sneakers are really great all around!
